Nicholson Carpentry & Building undertakes residential new-build projects across Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas.

Acting as main contractor, we can coordinate the different trades and stages required to take a project through construction, internal fit-out and completion, while giving the client a direct point of contact throughout the build.

We are equally comfortable working alongside architects, structural engineers and specialist contractors appointed by the client, integrating their work into the wider construction programme.

Contemporary
new build.

Nicholson Carpentry & Building acted as main contractor for the delivery of this contemporary new-build home, managing and coordinating the project through to completion.

The prefabricated timber-frame structure was supplied and erected by a specialist contractor appointed by the client. Nicholson Carpentry & Building then undertook and coordinated the remainder of the build, bringing the property through to its finished form.

Approximate build duration: six months.
The project demonstrates our ability to coordinate a complete residential build while remaining directly involved in the work on site.

Inside the project

Structure to finish.

The completed home combines a striking black-clad exterior with extensive glazing and bright internal spaces, with the wider construction and internal fit-out delivered under Nicholson Carpentry & Building as main contractor.

01 — REVIEW

Plans & specification.

We review the drawings, specification and proposed scope so that the project can be properly understood and priced.

02 — PREPARE

Quotation & programme.

Once the scope is established, we prepare the quotation and organise the sequence of work, trades and specialist input required.

03 — DELIVER

Construction & coordination.

We coordinate the build through to completion, with Ryan remaining directly involved and regularly on site throughout the project.

Already have drawings?

That's generally the best point to involve us. We can work from architectural drawings and specifications to provide a quotation and deliver the construction. Where additional professional input is required, we can assist with coordinating architects, structural engineers and other specialists as part of an instructed project.

Complete supply-and-install projects can be undertaken, as well as labour-only packages where appropriate.
