Built on carpentry.
Experienced in building.
Founded by Ryan Nicholson in 2010, Nicholson Carpentry & Building is a residential building contractor based near Sevenoaks, Kent.
Our background is in carpentry and joinery, where precision, planning and attention to detail matter at every stage. Over the years, that expertise has grown into the delivery of substantial residential building projects, including new builds, loft conversions, extensions, structural alterations and renovations.
Today, we combine hands-on construction experience with the ability to coordinate the trades and specialist contractors required to bring a project together — while maintaining the close attention to workmanship that established the business.
Direct involvement.
Clear communication.
When you contact Nicholson Carpentry & Building, you're dealing directly with the people responsible for the work. Ryan remains closely involved in enquiries, site visits, quotations and the projects themselves.
We believe good building work comes from careful preparation, realistic expectations and clear communication throughout. Whether we're delivering a complete residential project or a specialist carpentry package, the same standards apply.
We can work from established drawings and specifications and coordinate the relevant trades as part of an instructed project. Our aim is to make the construction process well organised, with a consistent focus on quality from the structure through to the finishing details.
